Burn This Into Memory

Junot Diaz quoting Neil deGrasse Tyson on November 9, 2016:

  • Do not shrink away.
  • You must be a part of what comes next.
  • The future is never gone. We have never lived in the best possible world. There has always been a fight to fight.
  • Do not laugh or look away. Stay here. Burn this into memory. Wake up tomorrow: the fight will await you.

...a disgraceful day .. Americans have shown themselves to be of bad moral character by the choices they made. :( ..to vote for such a vulgar man. :(

I, however, felt Hilary would have been a disgrace too unfortunately(even though I did vote for her, the less of 2 evils). I only felt Bernie Sanders had the most honor; and moral values and more of a man of peace and honesty (not perfect; but the best choice) :(

Michael Moore, a liberal, predicted Trump would not show up today to become President; that he would realized best to decline.. but unfortunately, it is proceeding :(

Thank you for this art, Connie. You speak my heart so many times. I finally made a decision to let go of an existential fear that was implanted in me at about age 9. What I was taught to fear may indeed come to pass--but meanwhile, I can get on with more important things. As long as I know what I believe and stick to that, I have nothing to fear.

I've spent nearly 45 years being afraid of something that isn't there...and while it may come, I probably won't be here when it does.
