Healing Pep Talks

Healing isn't linear, but pep talks are free.

Thanks for reading. Connie on Ko-fi

So true! And just like traumas, healing is individualised. What may work quickly for one person takes years/decades for another--or may not work at all.
I'm working on a new type of quilting project. It was being quite a struggle until I realised that it's okay to jettison certain "norms". No one is going to see this quilt but me, and maybe a friend or two. It doesn't have to be "by the book" if it works. And that was a strangely healing realisation.
