Yo...You're wise to be wary around strange dogs. You have no idea if they've been properly socialised or not, and many have not and will bite when least expected. I love dogs, but you can't just walk up to one that doesn't know you and expect to pet them unscathed. <br /><br />If you really want a dog to love you unconditionally, adopt one. And make sure you socialise it and give it basic obedience training.
