Working on a quilt project I suddenly realised <i>no one</i> could do what I wanted to do without an even-feed foot on the sewing machine. That's why all the tutorials you find on line say to use one! But I was trained from a very young age to think that if things went wrong it was my fault, I was just stupid or not bright enough to do it right. Can't fault a worker if they don't have the proper tools!anna in spainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09663381848189392618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292725.post-58315468291362254072022-06-23T09:34:43.973-04:002022-06-23T09:34:43.973-04:00"Busy writing these days, apologies for lower..."Busy writing these days, apologies for lower output."<br /><br />Delighted to hear it. What I took from that question was to try and learn more quickly and, as a result, sidestep misery as a result. The irony is, occasionally, I actually pull it off. But, just as often I don’t. Food for thought. Good work today. I get it, it makes me think, and it’s useful. Thank you, Connie.Robertnoreply@blogger.com
