Hi Ms. Sun,
I run an after-school program for high school freshmen and would like to display this graphic in my class. We do a lot of art projects about feelings expression and the kids think professional artists never get nervous - I want them to know everyone feels anxious about sharing something so personal. May I have your permission to share this awesome image?
Thanks,
Susan

I feel like this is true for all the arts -- including writing. If you know it's going to be public, it becomes nearly impossible to write it.

Just found your blog and LOVE it. Yes, this one is painfully spot-on. As I prepare to do a 'paint-along' demo next week…. :O

As an art therapist-in-training, one of things we do is watch the artist. It's up to us to project unconditional acceptance of the client and the process/product. It's amazing what blossoms out of the artist with their own watcher.
