Girl, I am jealous. I have tons of nice places to eat within a couple of blocks, yet I don't have the courage to ask for a table for one. I'm afraid I'll be recognized as an antisocial creep if I do it too much. (Which I guess I am.)
It is good to be one's own best friend indeed :) I understand the whole "Single lady cartoonist" thing, and can relate.
